Bujilli: Side-View of Idvard's Keep (WIP)

In Episode 39 Bujilli and Leeja crossed-over through a secret Weak Point to Idvard's Keep located in the midst of a drastically reduced and ruined version of Wermspittle on an Adjacent World. Here is a side-view of Idvard's Keep. Please keep in mind that this is a work-in-progress and mostly just a sketch. I still have a lot of work to do on this before it's ready for prime-time, but it should help clarify things for now.

And here is a quick diagram of the Portcullis arrangements...minus the murderholes, pit-traps and so forth. Also the Spiral-Ramp to Sub-Level 2B is locked and should be obscured by a clever bit of camouflage, but accumulated dust and debris has made the access-way fairly visible to anyone taking a few minutes to give everything a good look-over.

  1. The design of the keep I like, as a contrast with the impressions of other side of the Point especially, and combined with the architectural styles in the replies to the last episode, suggests an even more fantastical context than I was picturing. The station diagram is very clear too.

Based on this and all the responses, I'm inclined to leave the mechanisms alone and fully support that pursuit, fast and quiet, to get Bortho to turn back before he meets the other beings and any noises are got up. Given the layout of the stations, there seems little sense in closing the outers on the two other passages if the ramps remain open, or the inner of the passage they follow for the same reason.

    1. Glad you like it. I intend to go over the image with a really fine-tip pen and add-in a lot of hand-drawn detailing, based on Gibbering Mouther's previous comments. It's an approach that I've been tinkering with for a while now and I think it'll work out nicely. I'll append the revised version9s) of the map as it progresses.

Since we had quite an overwhelming consensus, Bujilli & Leeja have indeed gone after Bortho...and I'm about half-way through the new episode...

  2. I had no idea from the text that the building had a facade *literally*. The entire structure looks very cool.
